.::24 Weeks & Child Birth Classes::.

How far along? 24 Weeks

Total weight gain: +15 lbs.
Stretch marks? None yet.
Sleep: Sleep? A thing of the past.
Best moment this week: Actually seeing my stomach move from her kicks and movement.
Miss Anything? Working out regularly. My pregnancy isn't holding me back but my job is, working 50 hours a week is killing me and what makes me so tired!
Movement: More and more each day. Sometimes you can see my belly jump when she kicks!
Food cravings: Oranges! Yum...one day I thought I could take down a whole bag of them...I'm sure my Vitamin C levels are awesome!
Symptoms: Leg cramps! Awh! I technically have only had one..and that was at 15 weeks in which we were at an away game in Durango and I woke up in terrible pain and my friend Cassidie had to help me massage and stretch it out haha. But now I will wake up in the middle of the night and feel them come on so I jump out of bed and start stretching like a mad woman.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? In, barely
Wedding rings on or off? On, but I take it off at night cause I swell up a little
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Looking forward to: Our trip to California! And then going back to Utah for a few days to see my aunts who will be there visiting from Australia! :)

This last weekend we went to the CMU baseball game and it was a lot of fun. Freezing, but fun. We went all baseball food out and got hot dogs, chicken fingers, fries, and Peanut M&M's...and then when it got more chilly...hot cocoa! It was a really good game and CMU won! We also tried out a new restaurant, it was a hawiian BBQ place and it was absolutely deliscious! We will definitely be going back there more, especially since it's right by the school Blake will be doing his student teaching and coaching at in the fall.
We had the SAAC picnic again this year and won 2-2day tickets to Rock Jam (which we will be selling) and a Ladderball, disc toss game! We also had Blake's end of year team BBQ and ate too many cookies! :)

Yesterday we went and saw the Avengers! And loved it! And don't worry we were rocking our Avenger t-shirts for the day! :)
And now...child birth classes...so my friends who are already mothers...who took the classes and who didn't? Did you find them extremely helpful? Was there an alternate route you and your partner went into learning more about and preparing for child birth (books, videos, etc.)?

And I just got this canopy basically for free from carseatcanopy.com.
Enter promo code CCMOTHER and you only have to pay shipping...which is like $12.
I thought it was a good deal! :o)

.:: Halloween Fun::.

Some of the fun Halloween stuff we did...
Okay so going to the driving range isn't Halloweenish but it was a beautiful day and it was my first time going. It was so fun!
 We went to the haunted corn maze...that place is pretty cool with all the animals, pumpkin patch, and family fun things to do.

 Us being "scared" in the corn maze
 Our gingerbread haunted graveyard
 Cowboy & Indian
 2 professors, a one night stand, and a cowboy
 We went out to a friends party for Halloween...it was interesting...
it will probably be the first & last time we go to a college party as a married couple.
Kids so drunk that they are just making fools of themselves is not our scene.
The most entertaining thing of the night was watching a guy dump hot sauce in peoples beers when they weren't looking & then watching them drink it...that my friends is HILARIOUS.

Hope everyone had a fun Halloween.

Basketball season starts in less then a week...I'm so excited...
I can't believe my cute hus is a senior & this is our last year!!
We'll be in St. George next weekend for games so if any of our friends want to meet us there to support Blake & cheer on CMU that would be aweeeeesome!!!

.:: Fall Festivites....Thus Far::.

We have been so busy between all our different responsibilities but at least we are having some fun when we have time!

 Fruita Fall Festival...
Not the best picture but it was the only one we took.
My sisters came to visit over General Conference weekend. We had fun doing crafts, eating yummy food, watching/listing to conference, playing Just Dance, and going to Bananas.
 We went back to Utah one weekend & got to watch our nephew Barrett play football! Blake has been waiting for this moment since Barrett was like one. They are so much alike it's crazy. Anyways it was a lot of fun and it was the first of many football games to come...
 Workin' the 'stache!
 Preparing for Halloween...haha
 Chocolate & caramel covered pretzels with Heath bar...yumm!
 Pumpkin carving
Our pumpkins...mine is on the top right (ghost) & Blake's is in the middle (CMU)

Hope everyone has a fun Halloween!!

.::New School Year::.

School has started and we have become more busy! With Blake taking 16 credits and basketball and me taking 14 (online, ugh...kill me) and work I am surprised we manage to still have fun with our friends and make quick trips back to Utah here and there. We are seriously so tired at the end of the day! I have really slacked in my journaling and I will usually rely on my blog to help me remember stuff...but I've slacked on this as well.
The first week of school Angie & Colton had the team over for a BBQ.
It was really fun and such a success.
It was a great way to meet the new guys and some of the guys ladies!

 Chandler & Erica had planned an overnight camping trip at Vega Reservoir with the team. I had to work most of Saturday but we got up there by 5 to have dinner, s'mores, and have fun with our friends.
 The view from our campsite.
 It was raining when we were first got there. I was soooo not thrilled but it settled and we got this double rainbow.
 The ladies :)
 Some of the guys on the team...the others said not to make them food because they were going to catch their dinner....they caught one fish. They ended up going to get burgers...haha.
 Roasting s'mores & Starbursts...yum, yum!
We headed home that night since I had to work the next morning, it was short, but we had fun.

This year we have been good at supporting other fellow CMU athletics. We've gone to a football game, women's soccer, and 2 volleyball games. Go us! :)
 And lastly...have you ever had Olive Garden's Zuppa Toscana soup?
It's delish!
And I found the CopyKat version online...try it.
You seriously won't regret it! It's perfect on a chilly day!

.::Angie & Colton's Wedding::.

More traveling for us...but so worth it to see our friends get married and be apart of there day!
On Tuesday we had their rehearsal dinner and the food was delish! Last minute the guys decided to go to Wendover so the girls went country dancing & karaoke(ing?). We had so much fun!! It was kind of a bad idea since it was the day before the wedding and no one slept! The wedding was beautiful and the bride & groom stunning.
And my groomsman looked pretty handsome also! :)
 Just before the wedding ceremony
 Shoe shot!
 Blake walking Miss Ashley down the aisle.
 At the reception with Kev & Cassidie...so glad they came!

Love these guys!! <3

.::Friends::.

 The essence of childhood, of course, is play, which my friends and I did endlessly on the streets that we reluctantly shared with traffic. ~Bill Cosby
Blake has been lucky enough to really have life long friends. Since Steve and him are cousins they have been best friends since birth and then once Nate came along he completed their group.
These guys have been through a lot together and have some really funny memories that the ladies and I get to hear about or even were apart of.
Lucky for me that I love their wives also!!

Here's to friends!
